Going to the Garden

This accordion zine was drawn years before it was turned into a physical product. In 2020, I had just started tending a plot at our neighborhood community garden. Like many, I sought refuge in the calm, safe space the garden offered, and drew a few panels to describe what my time there meant to me. The garden was pretty dilapidated, and I quickly connected with other gardeners to brainstorm how we could make the garden better. Three years later, I turned my drawings into a zine to share with my Patreon subscribers – and I am happy to report that we have made the garden better and more beautiful every year since.
